This beautiful textile mill still produces high quality woollen products like tweeds and Welsh tapestry in a traditional manner. It is possible to watch all steps of the manufacturing process, starting with blending of the raw wool, continuing with the carding, spinning by old selfactors, dyeing, doubling and finally weaving. Two pelton turbines supply electric energy to run the partly historic machines.

I would like to express my gratitude to the extemely friendly and helpful staff of the Trefriw Woollen Mill. This unique factory is really wort a visit!
